Armaria (Sea Pink or Thrift) Attractive dwarf plants that will succeed irr any soil, forming evergreen tufts of bright green foliage, from which innumerable flowers appear in dense heads, on stiff wiry stems, during May and June from 9 to 12 inches high. Artemisia Lactiflora (Hawthorn-scented Mugwort). A most effective flower- ing plant, with erect stems 3 § to 4| feet high, and panicles of Hawthorn-scented creamy white graceful flowers. A very showy white-leaved contrast plant growing 3 feet high and maturing its beautiful mist-like foliage early in summer.
