The cylinders are4^-inch bore by 5^-inchstroke, with bearings of thesame size as used in thecompanys regular automo-bile motors. Jump-sparkignition is used, having a single coil and commutating the secondarycurrent. The inlet and exhaust valves may be removed from anycyHnder head by loosening a single nut. The crank shaft and crankpins are hollow for lubrication purposes. This motor is believed to be the lightest for its power ever con-structed and is another evidence of the mechanical developmentbrought about by the requirements of the automobile. 266.
