When the collectionof material on any one of the several subjects thathave been filed in this miscellaneous folder growssufficient to warrant an individual folder, that ma-terial is removed, the mark on the pamphlet ischanged and the material filed in an individual folderappropriately marked. For example, the library mayhave one pamphlet to which has been assigned thesubject Milk — Laws. This has been filed in themiscellaneous folder and marked M59X. When morematerial on this subject is gathered, remove it fromthe miscellaneous folder, rub out the X, substitutean L and file it in a folder marked M59L — Milk —Laws. In
