By far the largest and busiest fish market in Dubai, the Deira Fish Market is in reality a collection of several types of vendors grouped together under the same roof. Not only the most typical fish variety in the Arabian Gulf can be found in its premises, but also separate areas containing meat, fruit, vegetables and species can be found in here. It is an interesting and vibrant place to visit, not only for the cheap prices, but for the bustling activity of wheelbarrows taking fish all over the place before finally taking them to their respective kiosk spots. Exotic blue crabs, gigantic shrimps and tons of sharks, sardines, squids, tilapias and tunas are just a few of the most common sights.
