Chair in Light
I cherished Borders Books, Music, Video, and Cafe. When the chain closed, I bought several of these sturdy wooden chairs that had been used in the cafe section for years without developing the slightest amount of flex. The light hit the seat, highlighting the beauty of its wood grain, and reminding me there was a photo assignment for a solitary chair. The objects included are (top left) cured clear resin extracted from inside a condiment squirt bottle, a silicon mold created by coating a plastic bottle with calk, and a toothbrush used to stir the two clear resin components embedded within the leftover resin from that pour (I can't realistically reuse the toothbrush).
