The Jury, Bailiff, Deputy Steward, Duchy of Lancaster representative, Steward and Barmaster at the Great Barmote Court held annually on the 3rd Wednesday in April at the Moot Hall, Wirksworth. The Derbyshire White Peak has been the site of lead mining activity since Roman times. Barmote Courts have been held since 1288 and are thought to be the oldest industrial courts in the world.
