This is the register which accurately countedabout 30,000,000 visitors at the Columbia Exposition last year. The Meaker Manufacturing Co., of Chicago, 111., was representedby its president, J. W. Meaker, who exhibited portable and stationaryregisters of two or three types, which are already well known to streetrailway men because of their wide use on many of the largest systemsin the country. Mr. Meaker also took pleasure in exhibiting a newmechanical clip for overhead line use. This attracted a great deal ofattention, and was highly commented upon by street railway THE CARD ELECTRIC EXHIBIT. The R. A. Crawford Manufacturing Co., of Pittsburgh, wasrepresented by R. A. Crawford. This company exhibited a full lineof its patent fenders. The exhibit was very complete and showedfenders to meet every requirement in connection with street cars, foruse in front and underneath the cars. The company has just suppliedthe Norfolk Street Railway Company, of Norfolk, with pick-upfenders; also the Paterson, Passaic & Rutherford, and several otherroads. The General Agency Co., of New York, which is the selling agentof George C. Dressel & Company for the Dragon headlights, had avery handsome exhibit consisting of beautifully finished headlights ofvarious patterns, set off to good advantage by potted plants and exhibit included various types of oil and electric headlights manu-factured by the company.
