Dervaig lies at the head of Loch a Chumhainn at the north end of Mull It lies 6 miles west of Tobermory on the B8073 as it makes its way around the west side of northern Mull it is home to the Mull Theatre This was set up here in 1966 in a converted coach house in the estate of Druimard Country House With just 43 seats it is reputed to be the smallest professional theatre in the UK and it stages performances from May to September The village is also the location of one of the more unusual churches in Scotland the Church of Scotland Kilmore Church overlooking the bridge that takes the main road across the River Bellart This has a striking circular stone tower that looks as if it has been finished off in a pencil sharpener, Isle of Mull.
