Encouraged by the unseasonably high temperatures and mild weather, thousands of Christmas shoppers collected in Glasgow's Style Mile, better known as Buchanan Street, to do some last minute Christmas shopping. The last Saturday before Christmas has now been dubbed "Panic Saturday". To add to the festive spirit, The Salvation Army played Christmas Carols to passers-by and collected donations for charity.
