Cast iron plaque giving background to the clock tower in Auxerre, Burgundy, France, Europe

My translation of the text is as follows "The belfry of this clock was built in 1483 on a so-called Gaillarde tower forming part of the Gallo-Roman enclosure of the city. Destroyed by fire in 1825, it was reestablished in its original state in 1891. The bell and its calls were cast in 1484 by the Caradon foundry in Paris. The Arcade of the gate was built in 1460."
