Shoulder joint lesion. Coloured axial computed tomography (CT) scan of the shoulder of a handball player, showing the presence of a bone lesion. The lesion is opposite the lower part of the glenoid cavity. This is a type known as a Bankart lesion, and can occur after a shoulder dislocation. The lesion makes future dislocations more likely, and surgery may be required.
