Fra- ; A really good Orchid of easy culture. The rich scent is very de- lightful. We have imported a large quantity of this, and offer fine plants from 40 cents to $ ea. E. nocturnum { atissimum). Cen- tral America, and rarely in the Palm Hammock of Flor- ida. Stem one foot to eighteen inches in height. Flowers white, not very showy, but most ex- quisitely fragrant at night. E. Species from Cuba. Adistinct, large sort, with white and choc- olate flowers, tinged with rose. Very ro- bust. 50cts. togrs ea. E. venosum. South Florida. For those who wish a beautiful and cheap Orchid that will stand a low temperature and much neglect, this species can be high- ly recommended. In the first place, it is very rare in cul- tivation, the Orchid collectors of Amer- ica often preferring to send to Australia and the " Isles of the Sea" for Orchids much less beautiful than to look at their own door for a little gem. We have never seen it so much as mentioned by any other American Orchid catalogue or Orchid culturist except by Mr. Manda, who appreciates the beautiful, even though not from the antipodes. The Orchid is of neat habit, producing in sum- mer showy spikes of flowers three-quarters to one inch in diameter, of beautiful shades of pink and greenish chocolate color, changing with age to rich yellow and chocolate.
