In the vicinity of 65th Street is a grassy area called Sheep Meadow in which hundreds of people lay in the summer to sunbathe and read the newspaper. Great Lawn and Sheep Meadow are two immense prairies located in Central Park with stunning views of Manhattan. Here you can go to one of the many delis of New York (or a typical basket of hotdogs than we crowd in the park), comparse food and with a towel or blanket will sit in these meadows to enjoy a sunny day as do many New Yorkers.
