T^HE bill is reddifh brown: the head, neck, upper part of theback, and the breaft, of a greyifh afh-colour: the reft ofthe body above and beneath, wing and tail coverts, are white: quills the colour of polifhed fteel, changing to green and violet itail fhort, rounded, partly of the fame colour as the quills, andpartly whi|e, viz. the two middle feathers are of the fteel-colour, with a white tip j the two next have more white, and lefsof the other; and proceeding in that manner to the outfide fea-thers, which are almoft totally white, having only a fpot of fteel-colour at the bafe : the legs flefh-colour. This fpecies is between an ^arf,i^ai/ec/y O/fooA.
