The authors clamp and cylinder holder consist of 210 ANAESTHESIA two parts; the cylinder holder and a clamp for use whenhorizontal support may be had , table, etc. The cylinder holder consists of two parts; a nickle-plated brass plate about two inches by ten inches and athreaded steel pin, which may be screwed into the plateand removed at will. The plate is drilled so as to receivethree cylinders. Each hole has a nipple which receives the. This arrangement gives us the equivalent of threeyolks sufficiently separated and rigidly united. The nipple which receives each cylinder is pierced by ahole which opens into a common tunnel made in the exit from this tunnel is from a single vent, to whichthe rubber tubing leading to the face piece is attached.(Fig. 99.)
