Bennetts Associates has transformed a former Victorian warehouse near Euston Station into a HQ for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. The new headquarters building includes offices, a training suite, seminar rooms and a council room. The practice restored the site’s existing 950m2 Victorian warehouse, cleaning its external brickwork and windows, while exposing the building’s internal structure of cast iron columns and timber ceiling front of house has been opened up, creating a triple-height space with a feature staircase providing access to the HQ’s public areas.
