LEAPING UP OFF FOOT AND VALSE Stand weight on L foot, step on R and make big leap or spring straight up in place raising L knee on level withhip, head thrown back, L arm stretched straight forward, R arm straight back on shoulder level (Fig. I.) land on R footwith plie, 3 counts, 1 measure. One valse straight forward with L foot, 3 counts, 1 measure. Repeat ad lib. and reverse. Note—The spring should be taken strictly in place and the advance is made with the straight valse.
