Its flowers are quite as double, and almost as pure and perfect as those of the Camelia, and when we remember that they mass around a column from three to five feet in height, we get some idea of their beauty, Seeds sown in the Spring produce plants that will bloom the second Summer. .Plants set out in the Spring will flower about mid Summer, and for several years, it not allowed to bloom too freely the first year. We have excellent, healthy young plants grown from seed, that if planted in the Spring will flower the first bum- mer, and usually for two or three Summers after. The colors are nicely assoited, so that almost every color, from white to purple may be expected.
