Slovenia, Opatje Selo. WWII, the monument dedicated to the Italian partisans of the "Triestino Battalion" who fought together with the Slovenian partisans of the IX Corpus against the Nazi-fascists during the war of liberation. The monument was commissioned by the Presidency of the Republic of Yugoslavia to the Italian sculptor Renzo Moreu in 1975.
