Early haze lingers in the sky after sunrise to provide a diffused, but colorful glow that reflects onto Lake Michigan and Chicago's DuSable Harbor. Gulls acitvely fly within the scene. In the background is the famous Chicago Light or Chicago Harbor Lighthouse and, at left, a channel marker that defines the entry to the convergence of Lake Michigan and the Chicago River.
