In size, shape andappearance it is of the original Jenny Lind type. It maturesvery early, and produces an abijndant crop. The skin is coarselynetted, and during the early stage of itsgrowth is dark green, but takes on agolden-yellow color as the melons flesh is light green, very juicy, andof a peculiar spicy flavor.
