Summer Camp under canvas with personal kit and bedding laid out for inspection. A young James (Jimmy) Fraser, standing fourth from left, enjoys a 'Kola' and a 'piece'. Shoulder badges are of the 'T-4-GORDONS' type denoting the '4th Battalion, Gordon Highlanders, Territorial Force'. Before the formation of the TF in 1908, U Company belonged to the 1st Volunteer Battalion which was renumbered.
