The excellent service rendered by Arizonas system of railroadshas greatly increased the business of cattle raising, from the rapid andcheap rate at which the products of the range can be transported tomarket. As the branch lines now projected are generally completed,this effect will become still more marked, and it would be no easy mat-ter to predict to what dimensions the industry may yet grow. Theprofits made in this business are phenomenally liberal, and the returnsrapid. The annual increase in the herds is claimed to be between 80 J?VL%* * &-*M4f.
