Starts in Cedar Swamp in Westborough near Hopkinton. flows northeast through Fairhaven Bay, and then at the Assabet River at Egg Rock in Concord, Mass which forms the Concord River. Was designated a National Wild and Scenic River in 1999. These trees were at the shoreline of this river.
