Regatta of Fife-built yachts at Largs on the Firth of Clyde


In June 2008, classic yachts designed by William Fife returned to their birth place to participate in the regatta. The boats were designed and built in Fairlie, Firth of Clyde. In 1998 there was a gathering of 11 Fife yachts to celebrate the centenary of Eric Taberley’s Pen Duick, and in 2003 there was a gathering of 22 Fife yachts to celebrate the centenary of Moonbeam III. In 2008 22 yachts gathered to celebrate the centenary of Viola.
