This is the second permanent naval group of patrol vessels of NATO (SNMG2) under the command of Commander Michael Utley of the Royal group is comprised of a flagship ship HMS DUNCAN (Royal Navy Ship), TCG GAZIANTEP (Turkish Navy Ship) and ROS REGELE FERDINAND (Romanian Navy Ship).Ships routinely visit the port of Varna as part of NATO's strengthened presence in the Black Sea region in support of national sovereignty through collective defense.
