Switzerland, Lausanne, Covid19. On January 13, the government announced the closure of non-essential shops and mandatory teleworking as well as the extension to the end of February of restaurants and sports facilities closures in a move to drastically reduce coronavirus infections. The new measures come into effect from January 18. Private gatherings are limited to five people. Where teleworking is not possible, masks must be worn at the work place even if social distance is respected.
