The fouranterior pairs of legs are robust, with the middle jointsproduced above into a strong angle. The three hindpairs are much more slender, and terminated by a veryminute hook. The anterior pair of pleopoda are formedof two nearly equal joints, whilst the large lateral appen-dages of the last segment of the tail have the outer edgesof the two divisions strongly notched. 304 ^GID^. uEGlD.¥,.. Upper antennre reaching to the eyes, lower antenntereaching to half the length of the first segment of the body, inner divisionof the uropoda much larger than the outer, ovate, with the extremitypointed and the outer lateral margin notched, hasal joint not having itsinner angle produced into a point.
