Conditions of appointment—No school shall receive anappointment unless it can (a) furnish an instructorfor not less than 4 recitations daily of 35 minutes each,who is a college graduate or a normal school graduateof this State, who has had at least three years experiencein teaching, or a holder of a State certificate grantedsince 1875; (b) pay a salary of at least $500 to the in-structor; (c) furnish a suitable room, separate from otherdepartments of the school; (d) furnish the class oppor-tunities for observing methods of teaching in the gradesand for practice in teaching; (e) conduct the recitationsof the class separate from the recitations of other classesof the school; (f) maintain a class for at least 36 weeks.
