Air Force Master Sgt. Matthew Erickson, Air Forces in Europe Band drum major, focuses on building relationships through music and advancing partnership priorities, while participating in multiple events Aug. 18-24 throughout Kyiv to celebrate Ukraine’s 30th anniversary of independence. Erickson was given five days to help the 120 multinational band perform and march with little-to-no errors during one of Ukraine’s largest events with over 1 million people watching.
