Immortal and beasts on the eaves in Temple of Heaven
For the eaves of ancient Chinese buildings , it is decorated with some animals normally, the first one is a immortal riding a phoenix, meaning good luck. The last one is a large head like a dragon, called "Pendants Beast". Many small mammals between them called "Walking Beast.", and numbers up to nine, with lower and decreasing levels of construction. Taihe Palace of Forbidden City is a only special case which with ten “Walking Beast” in the ancient Chinese architecture.
