Hunting Horn. In 1849 King William II presented this horn as a prize for the fastest hunter at Het Loo Palace. Its shape is derived from an ox horn, and is embellished with both predators and prey. Concealed in the asymmetrical Rococo scrolls are a red deer beset by a hound, a fox cornered by a pair of lions, and a hooded falcon waits to hunt its prey.
