The sediment plume at lower centre (brown and light blue) is spreading from the Tiber River into the Tyrrhenian Sea, part of the Mediterranean Sea. It was caused by heavy rains a few days earlier, resulting in extensive flooding. This sediment plume has extended out from the coast by about 28 kilometres. Obtained by the Copernicus Sentinel-2B satellite on 5 February 2019.
