Church was built about 1504 and was restored in 1911. The Burblethwaite Pew is situated on the south side of the nave and is but was largely remodelled in 1810. The long, sparingly placed balusters are Jacobean, the Gothick pierced top frieze is of 1810. The Three-decker pulpit is dated 1698. Burblethwaite Hall is a local farm.
