Chicago, 111. rNDIANAPOLIS, IND. The Market. Stock has been plentiful. Chrysanthe- mums have been arriving in large supply. The majority of these were of excellent quality and in good demand. Plenty of the large types are available in yellow and white, but pink blooms are a little scarcer. Pompons, singles and the smaller types are available in large numbers in pink, yellow and white. The bronze and red are slower in ap- pearing. Yellow and white Turner arc beginning to come in. These are ex- cellent blooms and bring from $ to $9 per dozen. Other types range from $ up per dozen. Before election, business was dull, but it has opened up since. Although con- siderable stock has been coming into the" market, there has not been a great waste. Carnations are in large supply. Con- siderable funeral work has helped util- ize them. Good stock has held at $3 and $4 per hundred, although poor stock can be had at almost any figure. Roses are scarce. This is fortunate, as the demand for them has not been brisk. Potted plants have been in good de- mand. Ciirysanthemuni plants are in special favor. Some attractive plants of tlie Caprice family are being offered. Various Notes. E. H. Lane, of the Lindlcy Florist Box Co., Marion, Ind., called on the trade last week. Bprtprniann Bros. Co. had three large wcd(lin}:f decorations last week. There were a number of large chrys- anthemums peddled on the streets Sat- urday, November 6, for the football game.
