UKuncut stormed the home of Nick Clegg for a street party. Four groups of UK uncut converged on the home of Nick Clegg in Putney to protest cuts before settling down to a street party. Forming up in four separate locations round London including Parliament Square groups of UK uncut headed off via underground and overground to an unknown location for a street party to protest cuts. Police followed the groups, as unaware of the location as the protectors. When they arrived in Putney and police became aware of the destination it was a race to see who got there first. Police managed to throw up a cordon at both ends of Parkfields and after a number of attempts to break through the protectors finally settled down to a peaceful party in the street enjoying sun, food and music.
