The old monastery of San Miguel de Escornalbou is located near the town of Riudecañas, Bajo Campo region, Catalonia, Spain. In addition to the monastery functions, it was also used as a castle, thanks to its privileged location on the top of a mountain and the fortified walls that surrounded it. It ended up being a private residence.
