Keenan Faix, the 3rd Platoon commander attached to 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), prepares to exit the well deck of amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) on an amphibious assault vehicle during Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) Marine Expeditionary Unit Integration (PMINT) Training Exercise, Apr. 5. PMINT is a two-week training evolution between the America Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th MEU, which trains Sailors and Marines to become a cohesive unit and further mission readiness in preparation for their upcoming deployment.
