Fore wing bright cupreous red-brown ; a slight brown subbasal line faintly defined on outer side by white, excurved below costa and ending at submedian fold ; antemedial line red-brown faintly defined on outer side by whitish, oblique, straight; medial line double, brown, the outer line indistinct, inwardly oblique, straight, defined on inner side by a narrow white band ; postmedial line dark brown faintly defined on outer side by whitish, dentate, oblique to vein 6, tlien inwardly oblique, some white points bej'ond it on costa; a very indistinct pale Avaved subterminal line defined dii outer side by a brown shade; a series of black points just before termen with white points beyond them on termen; cilia white mixed with rufous especially towards tornus. Hind wing grey-brown, the terminal area rather darker; a diffused whitish postmedial line from discal fold to inner margin towards tornus ; a fine waved dark terminal line slightly defined on inner side by white at middle; cilia white, brown towards apex and tornus. Underside grey-brown ; fore wing with slight waved medial and postmedial lines and faint sinuous pale subterminal line with darker suffusion before it, the termen Avhitish : hind wing wdth dark discoidal point, two minutely waved postmedial lines excurved below costa, and a whitish subterminal line excurved below vein 7.
