Ebola care training exercise. Woman inside a mock ebola treatment unit (ETU) putting on her personal protective equipment (PPE) in order to take part in a phlebotomy (blood drawing) exercise as part of the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) 2014 Domestic Training Course for healthcare workers. This course is designed to train healthcare workers who are to be deployed to countries affected by the 2014 Ebola epidemic, in order to ensure that they have sufficient knowledge of the disease and its transmission routes in order to work safely and efficiently in a well-designed ETU.
