The worlds biggest fighting game tournament, Evolution 2016 (EVO Championship Series) is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on July 15-16 and the finals held at Mandalay Bay convention hall on July 17, 2016. The Evolution Championship Series (EVO or Evo) is an annual esports event that focuses exclusively on fighting games. The tournament is a completely open tournament and uses the double elimination format. Contestants will travel from all over the world to participate, most notably from Japan.
