John Philip Kemble (1757-1823), English actor. He and his elder sister Sarah Siddons achieved fame on the stage of the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London. This portrait is after a portrait by Gilbert Stuart circa 1785. Taken from R. J. Lea, Ltd's first series of Chairman Miniature cigarette cards, 1912.
