(Aug. 17, 2022) — Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro prepares to present Professor Emeritus Rudy Panholzer, recently retired Space Systems Academic Group Chair at Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) and Del Toro’s former professor and thesis advisor, with the Distinguished Civilian Service Award, the highest civilian recognition by the Navy, in Monterey Aug. 17, 2022. Del Toro is visiting San Diego and Monterey to visit with Sailors and Marines at installation commands, engage with leadership at SWFOTS, and to discuss strategic initiatives at NPS.
