One of the lesser known and visited menhirs on the Causse Mejean, a limestone plateau above the Gorges du Tarn.
This lone menhir (standing stone) is sited in an isolated spot on the Causse Mejean near the commune of Mas- St-Chely in the Lozere department of Causses are a limestone plateau above the Gorges du Tarn. The region and the area to the north contain many menhirs and dolmen.
