The Alsumer Berg, also called Beecker Heide, is a former scree, located in Duisburg directly on the banks of the Rhine, about 50 meters above the Rhine rises. The heap is today a landscape protection area. From Alsumer Berg you have a nice view of the industrial backdrop of the steelworks and the coking plant Schwelgern as well as the steelworks Bruckhausen of Thyssen Krupp and the power plant Duisburg Walsum.
