A white-backed Vulture glides down to a waterhole to drink and have a dust bath afterwards. Vultures on the whole are now classified as Critically Endangered as their numbers in Africa, Europe and Asia are crashing through interference from Man. In Africa their are regualr cases of large numbers of birds killed in mass poisonings and body parts collected for traditional medicines.
