Upper parts viiuiceous giey freckled with black,•white, and chestnut^ the inner margins of the scapulars and inner-most secondaries margined with wdiite or buft^-whitc ; uniform pale brown on the inner webs, mottled with buliy-white on the outer ones; top of head, crest, and ear-coverts greyishbrown ; forehead whitish ; throat and a line on the sides of the.
