Dracunculus vulgaris or Dragon's Arum in flower


Dracunculus vulgaris is known by a large variety of names from Drakondia in Greece to dragon's Arum, stinking, snake or voodoo lily. It's striking flower with large spathe and spadix which smells of rotting meat and is pollinated by carrion flies. Photographers own garden.
