061028-N-4124C-029 Omura, Japan (Oct. 28, 2006) - GunnerÕs Mate 3rd Class Eric Young, assigned to amphibious transport dock USS Juneau (LPD 10), instructs kids of a local childrenÕs home on how to carve a pumpkin as part of a community service project coordinated by the junior Sailors of Sasebo's forward-deployed naval forces (FDNF). The junior Sailors, about 30 in all, carved pumpkins, passed out Halloween goodies, and played a number of sports activities with the kids during the visit.
