It is, however, to be noted that near themouth of the River Xipigon is situated the village of Xipigon, and thatthe river itself is only two hours by rail from Port Arthur and FortWilliam, so that there are, in consequence, quite a number of anglersresident in the district generally anxious to enjoy the sport during theweekends, or for two or three days when opportunity offers, and thereis a distinct feeling in these quarters that a hardship is being inflictedby compelling residents in the vicinity to pay | for their angling foreach period of a day or two on
